minimally invasive route is becoming the normal for hysterectomies and more gynecologists are now opting for this method than ever before.Most of the time surgeon faces technical difficulties in low resources and complicated steps again make procedure more difficult.
Aim: To describe a low resourceful set up and efficient technique by using single assistant with single energy source instrument and simplified steps for surgeon comfort.
Materials and methods: Retrospective analysis of 4000 cases of laparoscopic hysterectomy performed for various benign gynecological indications wherein each surgery performed using only shearer for all uterine pedicles and also for colpotomy. Single energy source (machine)& single setting, Single assistant for contralateral port and as camera person ,Manipulation by myoma spiral perfoming maximum steps without changing instruments in ports , using 2 graspers ,1 myoma screw ,1 shearer,2needle holder, 1suction canula, 1 scissor.
Conclusion: This study successfully demonstrates the uses and benefits of a simple yet resourceful modification of technique in aiding ease and comfort during laparoscopic hysterectomy.Decrease stress ,Avoid lot of confusion, Decrease cost Decrease man power ,Land up with less complications ,avoids Choas in ot/trolly/mind.
