Menstrual Disorders and Endometriosis

Menstrual health is a vital, yet often overlooked, aspect of women's well-being. This session at GWC 2026 will delve into the diagnosis, pathophysiology, and management of conditions like dysmenorrhea, amenorrhea, menorrhagia, and endometriosis. Special focus will be given to the impact of chronic pelvic pain on mental health and fertility, emerging diagnostic tools like high-resolution imaging and biomarkers, and new pharmacological and surgical approaches. The session invites gynecologists, reproductive endocrinologists, pain specialists, mental health professionals, and public health advocates to contribute to a more holistic understanding of menstrual disorders and promote menstrual equity across different populations.
