Infections and STIs in Gynecology

The Infections and STIs session at GWC 2026 explores a wide range of infectious conditions impacting the female reproductive tract, including sexually transmitted infections (STIs), pelvic inflammatory disease (PID), and vaginal microbiome imbalances. Special attention will be given to emerging infections, antibiotic resistance, HPV vaccination, and HIV co-management in reproductive-age women. This session is ideal for gynecologists, infectious disease specialists, microbiologists, sexual health clinicians, and public health experts aiming to enhance both preventive and clinical approaches to reproductive tract infections globally.
